If you hold down m1 to do a heavy attack (the animation pulls the weapon back to show that it is about to do a heavy attack) , and then press F to use fury of the faithful, if the dash hits an enemy, it resets the attack. If you immediately let go of the button it will do a light attack.
You have to hold the button down even longer as if to do a heavy attack again in order to actually do a heavy attack.
I’ve noticed this using the Eviscerator mrk VX. Can’t replicate it in the meatgrinder but it happens in mission.
