The issue is in addition to the glacial pace every step forward comes with two or more steps back. They’re always on the back foot, so to speak, because of their own design intentions and/or technical debt. Not to mention the seeming amnesia of any lessons learnt making their previous games, or the seemingly deliberate ignorance of anything that gets implemented in their previous game after development begins on their current game. The sheer lack of testing (I swear no one in Fatshark plays the game normally), the sheer lack of change oversight, etc. etc.
Finding out the ranged interaction with Preacher’s F ability being acknowledged as a feature in the dev note is appreciated but still confusing because the game itself doesn’t mention anything about it, and it probably came from a bug where the game still can’t tell the difference between ranged and melee damage without having to be told in every instance it actually gets checked.
