Electrocute Status and Enfeeble interactions

Hello Varlets!

I just wanted to post here to clarify and check the interaction mechanics behind the Psyker’s [Enfeeble] modifier which applies a +10% damage debuff on enemies that are electrocuted by you and the [Electrocute] debuff which supposedly causes enemies to spark and cackle.

From reading how these 2 mechanics work, it should be that if an enemy is electrocuted, that enfeeble is applied yes?

However, it appears that Enfeeble ONLY works with Smite and non other sources of Electrocute like with [Charged Strikes] where Heavy attacks apply Electrocute to enemies, or the Shockmauls stun baton special, or the Surge Staff’s bio-lightning attacks (debuff indicator shows that enemies hit by these attacks have the “Electrocute” debuff applied, but it doesn’t do anything).

@FatsharkStrawHat could you kindly check with the devs about how this is actually supposed to work? If it is intentional that enfeeble doesn’t work with anything else but Smite, then I think there’s a lot of wasted interactions between it and many weapons, blessings, and talent combos…

Thank you!

Agreed! Would love to be able to play a full Unlimited Power build and know that my buffs are working correctly. At the very least the smite talent that electrifies your heavy attacks should enable Enfeeble if it doesn’t already.

Yeah not even the heavy attack electrocute talent applies the enfeeble debuff after testing in the meat grinder with the show debuffs mod. The wording implies enfeeble should be based on electrocution being applied but smites electrocution debuff endures for about 3 seconds after ending smite while the enfeeble rebuffs ends immediately on ending smite. Just a shame really as there are several interesting synergies here that sound interesting on paper but just don’t work in game.

 Made me laugh. I know it’s a typo, but enemies SHOULD do more cackling!
