Dueling Sword Parry-Riposte : Damage Taken : Block duration too short

Issue Description (Required):

I don’t know if it’s intended, there is no documented info on that, but the new Special action of parry for the dueling sword is not safe to use.

The block duration is too short during the risposte attack, so we can take damage in return. Easy to test with a Chaos spawn or DeamonHost in the psykanium (Creature spawner mod). The 4 hit combos of a DH will hit you even if you spam the parry special, as an exemple. This is not possible with a Devil claw’s special Parry, where if you spam it you won’t take damage, and counter attack every hit safely.

I think you applied the default values of block duration and forgot that you buffed the duration for devil claw in the Nightmare and vision Patch.

We aligned the Block duration (the period of time in which the player is still considered blocking) for the Push action and the Riposte attack, but also the Stamina profile between the three marks.

^ TLDR, the block duration of dueling sword Parry is still too short or non existant during the riposte attack and we take damage if surrounded by horde, a DH, a Chaos spawn, or a Rager.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

1- Spam the parry special against a DH, or Chaos spawn
2- See damage taken during the riposte

wow they acknowledged that, i thought it was fair game

Actually, the Aknowledged tag just means that a CM has read the post and is reporting the info to devs.

Still not sure yet if it’s intended or not. Maybe it’s a choice they made for balance and not being the strongest weapon in attack AND in defence too.

Here is a recorded video showing, in the first part : a dueling sword vs a DH. You can see a lot of hits are taken, back to back parry-riposte doesn’t chain properly, etc.
