Continuous crashing on start up

Please Verify Integrity of Game Files using the instructions below, and see if the issue persists:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
  6. Launch Vermintide 2

Hey, thank you for the reply. Last night I tried verifying integrity of the game files, however after it was complete it said there were 3 missing or corrupted files, so I restarted steam and let the files download. After a few hours the game was still attempting to patch the missing files so I tried to reinstall the game, but now instead of being unable to patch missing files, the download is finished but paused saying “Content File Locked”.
