I was not able to claim the Gifts of the Wolf Father rewards when they launched. The issues seems to be wide spread and now fixed. However I was not able to claim first 2 rewards because of it. I would appreciate assistance getting them. Thank you very much for your help and support!
Hi @CCPD, there was a known crash when Gifts of the Wolf-Father initially went live. Though, we quickly removed future gifts from the UI that same day to prevent the issue and have been manually adding gifts each day since with a grace period of 2 days after to still claim them. Regrettably, if you missed claiming these gifts while they were available with the grace period then they have been missed. Sorry for any disappointment.
Hi, the reason I didn’t claim them is because I couldn’t due to the crash. By the time it let me claim gifts I wasn’t able to reclaim the first two. You can’t claim something that wouldn’t let you. Regards
Hi @CCPD, the first gift wasn’t claimable for a few hours due to a crash, but the gift was made available on day 1 once we updated gifts visible in the UI and prevented the crash from happening. The first gift was then available for the rest of the day, and for 2 days after this. The second gift was added manually by us on day 2, and would not have been affected by the crash - and was available for 3 days.
I’m sorry to hear you missed these rewards, but we’re unable to add missed gifts unless a technical issue does fully prevent a gift from being claimable for the duration. With that being said, if you encountered another issue/crash on subsequent days when trying to claim gifts 1 and 2 then we can assist. Could you please provide your console logs from sessions on those days so we can take a look?
Hello. Unfortunately the game was simply freezing and crashing upon trying to claim the rewards. I realised I wasn’t the only one having issues and just waited for it to be resolved. By the time I could claim rewards, the first two were no longer claimable. It seemed reasonable to think that they will be rewarded to people who tried to get them during issues. I’m glad it was resolved for some people, unfortunately it wast for me. Would appreciate you support. Regards
