I’m … not sure that relates to my point (1) about having a team mate who can wipe out Elites ? Maybe point 3?

But regardless, I’m not here to say you’re wrong mate. I think my personal opinion is that it shouldn’t, given that a vet carries two kraks and if you really want, you can spam BB almost indefinitely.

I think Kraks have that “oh poo” usage, where you suddenly see a pack and it’s time to bring one out. Whereas BB is a bit more “pre-” , as in you use it more tactically to thin a group before it gets to you. But then admittedly, I’ve seen videos this last week where you can shriek and slaughter, so I probably do need to revisit my thinking. After the next patch, ofc.

With talents, grenades are basically a cooldown for veteran.

Yes, but its a 60 second cooldown, not something you can just use whenever you feel like it.
