Well, interesting to note that it’s likely that whatever ‘narrative rework’ comes in a couple weeks, the rest of us will still be Rejects. That’s good imo. Not throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Also I would like to give a big fat I told you so to anyone who ever used “X class is impossible because of lore” as a reason for something not being added to the game.

Maybe play in same intro, then stay behind not boarding ship and have …some time later screen before arrival on morningstar

Does that mean they’ll have their own tutorial mission to play? Not that its important, but it would be cool to see them try to enter non-rejects into the story. Maybe have you show up at the Bastion after the escape to clean up stragglers and investigate.

But I still care a lot more about gameplay things tbh and hope for something beyond ‘the dog + you get shields and clubs and a gun + melee combo’ for info. I actually like seeing how things go from concept through various prototypes to final.

I’m very excited to see how Arbitrators play out personally. However, I am definitely curious to know if they will be a tankier class - Arbitrator carapace armor is an iconic part of their design, and it seperates their appearance from the other units significantly. In gameplay, will this be taken into account when designing their perks?

Personally, I see the Arbitrator as a heavyweight crowd control unit, strongarming their way through hordes and hunting down priority targets with the help of their Cyber Mastiff - I’m hopeful that in gameplay, they feel like an unstoppable, yet somewhat slower force to counterbalance the Mastiff’s ability to lock larger enemies in place until the Arbitrator gets within range.
