During the Archivum Sycorax event involving sealing doors, a critical issue occurred where after successfully navigating through the event, a teammate required revival. Upon returning to assist the fallen teammate, both of us were inadvertently trapped as the doors sealed behind us, leaving us with no means of escape. It’s worth noting that this issue occurred organically during gameplay and was not a result of attempting to exploit a shortcut.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Begin the Archivum Sycorax event.

  2. Navigate through the sealing doors event.

  3. Have a teammate go down after successfully passing through the doors.

  4. Return to revive the fallen teammate.

  5. Witness the doors sealing behind you, trapping both players inside.

Additional Notes:
This issue significantly impacts gameplay experience, as it prevents players from progressing further or completing the event. It is suggested that a mechanism be implemented to allow players to reopen the sealed doors if they become trapped.

been that way ever since the map was released.

while i enjoy the “pick up the pace” it puts on people getting through that passage and by now most got common sense not to hit that button before everyone is inside, i agree that simply getting locked out and having to relog isnt very fun.

room should fill with gas, kill and spawn you outside, like an environmental daemon host.

punishment served and flow of the game still upheld

No one pressed any button, the bots were dead, and it was just me and the other guy.
We just started the event, I made it through, and he went down, so I turned back for him, but the doors closed behind me, so we were trapped in the passageway.

maybe the bots on their respawn place count as "area passed, start event - trigger. which would equally be bad and reason to “fix” that timed gate.
