Xbox One: Server Errors/Event not showing up

Hi everyone,

Just joined up because I had not seen a post about this yet, and with the clock ticking on this exciting new event- thought it would be worth mentioning.

I’ve been consistently checking to see if the Halloween event has been enabled yet on Xbox- for some reason it was not displaying yesterday once announced, despite the graphical aspects seemingly working without a hitch.
(Small note- I’ve noticed massive drops in FPS during hordes since the patch, maybe it’s the glowing eyes?)

Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but after seeing the amount of time we have to complete these challenges, and now being faced with the “Server Error: Cannot connect to game server” I thought it was worth bringing up on here.

I haven’t been able to make any progress towards the Halloween event challenges since patch release, let alone see what they are. A day later, and now I can’t even log into the game. The clock is ticking on these challenges and I am worried I won’t have enough time to complete them thanks to whatever is causing these issues (and a full time work schedule).

Thank you for reading!

I believe I may have responded to your query via the Support Portal about 10 minutes ago - we’re looking in to it!

Thank you! I was under the impression that the form I filled out was for the forum, -noob hat on- sorry for the redundancy!

Oh no worries! Just wanted to make sure you saw my other response as I acknowledged some of the other issues you mentioned.

When I replied via the Support Portal earlier I was under the impression everything was back up and running as normal but I was sadly mistaken. Our back end provider is working closely with Xbox Live to restore the service as soon as possible.

EDIT: We’re back up and running. Please let me know if you have any issues.
