As a once victim of testicular torsion (the ultimate form of c*ck block, true story.), this really drove the point home for me.
If there’s anything the internet has revealed to those with eyes to see it’s that people will quite liberally “just say stuff”. Doesn’t have to be true, or nice or constructive in any way. 90% of the internet is filled with the mental queefs of people who don’t think all that much or all that deeply most of the time.
I don’t believe about 96% of people who say they can solo auric damnation or that havoc was “too easy” and so on. Sell that slop to someone who’s buying I say, cus it ain’t me.
That can be pretty annoying i agree.
If they somehow were humble I wouldnt mind as much but when it’s the opposite I don’t think I will finish the match. So props to you for sticking with that team.
NGL dude, it wasn’t out of altruism so TY but I don’t deserve any props. I should have left 10 minutes in at the latest, but I was curious to see how the rest would play out, part morbid curiosity part stience.
It was not fun for me in the least despite me playing relatively well with a weapon I didn’t use much (evisc) on top of that. The amount of facetanking in the first 10 minutes alone, then the excuses and hostility when I nicely asked them to tone it down and tighten it up a bit was over the top.
Unless you’re an Ogryn, too, you don’t have a voice in it. But I don’t think Ogryns have that kind of fine control anyway. They’ll just sit on you including your knees.
Players sucking up ammo loot and denying other players. No problem for me as I only save heavy bolter for monstrosity only.
Lots of vets running autoguns and running away or purposely pulling crushers onto team mates to save themselves.
Medstation topping up when not even 50% or same players always taking damage and they are always first choice for med station every time denying other players every time. Saw one guy top up health 3 times from med station in 1 min.
Not using green stim for their team mates at low health, saving for themselves.
Thing about Auric I have to be in the zone i.e. certain evening time I won’t be disturbed and quiet surroundings and there is alot more courteous players in Auric by a mile. But sometimes I want to do a chill T5 normal and that’s where above problems exhibit more.
The concept of sharing is great. It is nice to do or give and get a thanks. But the lack of courtesy makes me think it might be better to replace current system and each player gets their own allocation of med/ammo and self manage independently. But I know that won’t happen.
One major problem remains; the games overall failure to communicate much of anything of significance to the player, whether it is what any of its plethora of terms mean or what each difficulty requires of uou. None of this is made clear, so people feel like “if I can click the play button, it must be for me”.
