they have nerfed maybe three weapon since release and buffed basicly 80% of the linbe up making most weapon at least playable in all difficulty. Even when they nerfed weapons they took five months to do so as they were gathering data (as said in multiple patch). maybe grow up outside of the PS and try new stuff.

FS is just terrible at itemization, but I canā€™t help thinking that the DT community has a non-trivial role in the state the game it is right now.

Everyoneā€™s crying about how hi-int shock missions are the only ones that arenā€™t boring, yet still no one wants their clearly overpowered feats/weapons/blessings nerfed.
What that will get us, in the long run, is a new difficulty with more damage sponges spawned on the map making OP stuff even more mandatory and gameplay even more boring.

I mean, hi-int ST missions are already just a combination of ā€œspam the chokeā€ and ā€œclear the room from the shooting galleryā€ - real engaging gameplay right there /s. And the worse part is that this gameplay obsoletes like 80% of the stuff in the game because it just canā€™t clear the horde of elites nearly as fast/efficient as the other 20% of the stuff.

yeah funny and all but not actually very accurate if you go through patch notes you will find hundreds-thousands of buffs ignoring fixes which are mostly

positive to and there have been only a handful of nerfs and they have only come to the most flagrantly broken weapons which are alls till viable and the PS is still teh mos tpowerful melee weapon in game its just not balance destroying now.

so yeah keep up the good work there FS

Iā€™m part of the casuals who enjoy the game but can barely hold my own on low int damnation so I donā€™t really have an idea about hi int Damnation. But I wouldnā€™t mind ā€œhard coreā€ players to have a six difficulty to enjoy ^^

Also I wish they would improve the quickgame system to actually be of use (like a bump or plasteel for finishing a quickplay). Plus so material for killing monsters (one large plasteel, one large diam at least).

And when it come to the nerf, I would rather have a rework on the PS, it went from OP and boring to balanced and boring. But itā€™s still not stimulating to play as there is pretty much only one way to use it. (Maybe have the weapon always energised for hord control damage with great cleave and the possibility to overcharge it for one strong hit or a quick series of estoc strikes, kind of like the thunderhammer with less power and more speed.

all in all there have been mistake on FS part and needless hostility from the cumminty. But the game still got better through community outrage and the few nerfs were deserved.

I think the game now has reached a point where I wouldnā€™t mind them to turn to content again.

They DESTROYED their own community.

Bit of an understatement Iā€™d say!

It was extremely concerning when the beta transitioned into launch and barely anything was added. I thought I was getting a taste, turns out Iā€™d eaten almost the whole sandwich.

I remember my friends and I speculating what all the other subclasses would be on release since the class names in the beta implied they were only a taste of what was to come

100 thousand people or more brought this game look at us now smh.

Then there was almost complete radio silence after the launch, until the asshat CEO (?) caved and said ā€˜sorry not sorryā€™ in a public letter.

Doesnā€™t really matter where you are on the difficulty scale. As you go up, you are just more and more pigeonholed into a small subset of overtuned gear. And both the balance and gameplay suffers for it.
Difficulty #6 would only make this problem worse unless serious rebalancing and reworks are not done.

I would prefer to see improvements and adjustments in the mechanics of the game rather than simple power creep and a higher density of enemies to counter it.
In my opinion, the gameplay and mechanism of Damnation hi-int are already quite clunky.
Instead of introducing specific enemies types and/or skills, the game relies on quantity, adding more specialists enemies and increasing their toughness (and harder to reach breakpoints).

I understand that it might be easier for the developers to produce content this way, and they may want to offer consistent experiences across all difficulty levels. However, this approach makes the game feel mechanically simplistic and lacking in inspiration. Other games handle difficulty levels differently, but it requires more effort and balance to implement. It seems like weā€™re stuck with this design direction because itā€™s the easier option for the developers.

Even on easier difficulties, itā€™s not uncommon to see packs of mobs spawning behind our teammates. This is obviously done to keep us engaged and under pressure, even if it seems unfair. The levels are already designed to constantly rain mobs upon us (spawn points locations).

Sure, it can be enjoyable to defeat hordes of enemies, but Iā€™m not a fan of the current design in the highest difficulties.

On a positive note, the recent group compositions offer more diversity and some challenging moments, which is a welcome addition.

I agree with everything you said.
Hope that new difficulties bring in new enemy types, more, interesting, monstrosities and better group compositions.
Basically, anything that promotes positioning and teamwork rather then spamming damage into crowds on choke points.
This would lessen the pressure on focusing on horde-clearing gear and allow more thought about weapon trade-offs and team gear composition.

The entire Fatshark team should be focused on creating new content. NOT coming out with new penances and cosmetics. Even though the new cosmetics are way more player friendly and do not impact your strike teams advance. If you look under the Missions tab in the penances then you will notice that there are two empty mission types. 1. Stand by for Action and 2. Raid Response. FATSHARK DEVSā€¦ PAY ATTENTION. We need more classes that have been promised as well new game-modes and maps. I have been with this game since BETA and its sad to say that a majority of my friends have stopped playing because it has become redundant. NOTHING different in gameplay. You have my money and thousands of others pay checks, please give the community what we paid for.

They already have some new enemy types in the files. Just not enabled / fully finished yet I guess.

Butā€¦ Thatā€™s literally new contentā€¦

The nerfs havenā€™t been that bad imo, but Iā€™ll admit I was pretty salty about the power sword for a while. That is what I wish the Ogryn was. Either cleaving dudes in half left and right, or hitting them so hard that their limbs are reduced to wet noodles. God, I love the power sword.

however it takes 5+ months to MAYBE get a weapon you want

I also hate the lock system, But if you arenā€™t looking for the most perfect version of your weapon a good 370+ with 3-4 blessing can be obtain a two weeks most of the time.

I donā€™t like it but if you are playing regularly itā€™s not that impossile to get efficient version of most weapons with time.
