Why does fatshark not announce new events anymore anywhere?

i’ve noticed this for the past events already but they’re not announced on steam nor this forum. i don’t follow any other social media so no idea there. should be at least on steam though, no?

@FatsharkQuickpaw are you guys aware these events are getting essentially stealth dropped?

it’s more than a little annoying to have modifiers locked behind events that only run for a couple weeks then never come back, and then not even having them announced so unless you actually go check ingame you miss new content. please announce them properly, or if this is not an option, don’t make them time limited please.

If only this could be a bug report, then you’d get an ‘Acknowledged’ that you could enjoy for the next few years while waiting for the change :smiley:

btw, the event is pretty cool. the modifier changes it up a lot. makes it even more of a shame that most people will probably never play this because they arent aware it exists and it’ll be gone soon!

I assumed this one went unannounced because everyone is on vacay and it was started by a timer.

Which other ones were not announced? I’m getting old and my memory is drawing a blank.

the pre-skitarii release one, i already forgot the name but it gave aquilas with the decodes and lore blurbs in the melk ui, was totally unannounced as well as far as i could tell

i thought at that time it may be a strategy to not give out too many aquilas total, but this one doesn’t give any and is also stealth dropped, so i think it might be some structural issue at fatshark or something

It’s this. Less exploration, more gameplay, basically; and some degree of resource starvation.

there been some events starting and then getting the announcement only later but wasn’t that big of a problem cause then they announced the event later

and one thing that happened was like dropping a special event for then announcing it with a trailer video on yt only like after 1 week later once the event dropped

but yea this time no news at all, official forums are basically the official main place to get information and it’s kinda weird they didn’t announce it

if they are good they should extend the event by another week as compensation or something

I’m wondering if this went live by accident or something! I was playing and checking the mission board and just saw Event and questioned what that was! Very fun one I may add!

Yeah I love this event, should be turned into a modifier.

Some dude on Steam forums created a thread, claiming they saw cheaters in game - when they killed mobs, resources were dropped from their bodies :smiley:

I might actually play this.

Mostly because Arbites from Xmas emptied my docket reserve and just when I was getting more Skitarii came in and killed the rest

Events are not worth the effort since they do not reward Aquilas.

and is their best event yet!! they should make this honestly the base way how you play the game.
