and why
I just donât like playing ogryn as much as the other classes
I canât point any specific class but itâs the saddest moment when ppl accept me and ask me to bring a brain dead meta build.
Youtubers discovered a source of income and now I have to be a purgatus/voc/taunt/book/shockmines slave.
Scum brings nothing to the team besides corruption immunity (soâŚBlight) and the blob clear with the rocket launcher, IMO the ammo share aura is simply not enough.
I actually despise playing as veteran.
Iâll pick it up if Iâm with a particularly stubborn group to fill in a gap in the comp but it is my least good class to play. I genuinely donât enjoy the meta or the role or the pressure.
Rampage Shivs/CB can be an Inferno staff Psyker replacement quite easily in H40, dealing basically the same damage
Desperado IAG Vraks/Dual Autopistols can also achieve this
Vet â Ogryn â Scum â Zealot â Arby â Psyker is how often I play each class in Havoc.
I enjoy playing Zealot the least in Havoc specifically, but I get to play Psyker the least, because of how contested they are. I just think Zealot is kind of one-dimensional, 2/3 blitzes suck, no ranged damage or ammo for the number of shooters you often face, and diving enemies is suicidal, most teams wonât dive with you so youâll be alone in the backline. So you have no choice but to play in the middle of the team, but multiple classes are way better at that.
I enjoy playing Zealot overall, in auric he is self-sufficient, just not really good in Havoc in my own experience. I also see good Zealots the least in Havoc, most of the time they are the weakest player on the team.
In terms of melee class Chorus Zealots that instakills on ledge or stunlocks bosses bring more to the team than FOTF Zealot with their subpar damage that comes nowhere close to Shiv Scum and Greatsword Psyker. Itâs kind of sad that melee Psyker is better in melee than Zealot. Oneshot Stealth Zealot is kinda good, although at the same time kinda sucks against crowds.
From the times I have played Havoc (Got all the Penance cosmetics), Veteran has been the one who consistently âlost the gameâ or simply failed to keep up.
Not saying Vet is the worst, just some Vet players solely try ranged and get shanked by a groaner.
Veteran is the easy choice here, not because he is the weakest, rather because you are still the squishiest class the moment you lose iron will.
Chilling on arbi, vibing to EDM, ragdolling bad guys in peace ![]()
Or zealot, beacuse someone has to be alive when everyone else died already.
Skitarii entered the chat.
Mega squish but without vets gold toughness or scums mobility. Just squish with no huge pay off except arc rifle.
So yeah, skitterz would be my last choice if surviving was the aim.
Ogryn is usually my favourite to play with as I like the flow that is required. Ironically requires perfect timing and grace of a ballerina to perform as a melee oggy in H40. Feels very satisfying when nailed.
True, but the judgment is still out because of all the sprint cancel bugs. Once they fix those, skittles will become more survivable.
No offense, but I dislike playing Ogryn the most because this class feels too strong and boring. I prefer playing a melee Veteran, a class that doesnât need to hide behind teammates, has zero room for error, and can be one-shotted easily. In every Havoc mission, especially when my teammates are not very skilled, I basically need to play the role of a âfirefighterâ to handle any issues for them. This includes, but is not limited to: dealing with specialists, covering teammates with grenades, dealing with melee hordes and elites, eliminating all ranged units, and fighting all bosses. Meanwhile, I refuse to use Krak grenades, which can easily kill Crushers and bosses and feel like cheating, and I donât need Shredder grenades for survival. My favorite ranged weapons are the Double-Barrelled Shotgun, Infantry Lasgun, Bolt Pistol, and Combat Shotgun.
Psyker because i will blow myself up. I only ever did one havoc without this
Vet has gold toughness at the press of a button so there is a lot of room for errorâŚsame goes for their regenerating kraks which melt entire packs of crushers.
Scum is too âsoftâ (not much thoughness).
Is the âAssasinâ style class.
I am just bad at surviving with those classes.
If I had a choice, I wouldnât run gold toughness. But without it, my Ogryn teammates would easily get mobbed to death by trash mobs. To keep them alive, Iâm forced to use it. It reminds me of what the wise man once said: âWeapons are instruments of ill omen, not the tools of a gentleman. They are used only when there is no other choice.â Also, did I mention that I completely refuse to touch Krak grenades or the Dueling Sword? Using them just feels like a straight-up cheat code.
No bubble.
Wonder when will players realize taxe7 is the new DS4.
Just run Desperado and run towards the gunners, this way they shoot You instead of your team
Except when they donât. Team bonuses > Self
