id love an update that addresses the games sucky performance. First step could perhaps be not making ray tracing re-enable itself every update? ---

well duh we already know the sharks are gonna be on semi hiatus until the June update with the new class. might get an expeditions event in the meantime. It doesn’t mean we can’t hope, after all it is the first step on the journey to disappointment ---

New normal maps are my priority one. I don’t care for Expedition, Havoc or Mortis Trials. New enemies and guns are nice too, I suppose. ---

I was coping out of my mind for so long that the expeditions update was the slam dunk “we are SO back” level of update but it killed all of my coping skills outright instead. Fatshark thinks they are Nintendo or somethin and have to do different things for any or no reason at all. Why lol guys just do the things you know you are good at doing. Every map is rad as hell visually, and when the story moves it is interesting to me. Rannick is such a troll I love him. The fighting itself is a solved system. You don’t have to touch how we interact with bad guys much at all imo, and it’s great. There must be some data telling you guys that new modes are the way to go or somethin, because I’m at 3k hours and still just hitting quickplay on the regular mission board, so I must simply be in a minority. Give me Darktide 2, Vermintide 3, or new maps man not motion controls. I’m even down with new classes, just pair them with maps. This game, even as it is now, stands head and shoulders above its contemporaries. It is the best 40k game I have ever played and is the best child of L4D to ever live. You don’t have to mar it like this. ---

Idk if I’m having a Mendala Effect, but I remember a comic strip about a man complaining about how something was stupid and dumb and no one should be paying for it, as he’s in line to buy the product. I believe I saw it in referencd to the MCU haters who still lined up to see every new movie. But I think it applies here, people continue to complain about new game modes, and DLC classes, and continue to engage with them and throw money Fatshark. Now, I know about the Goomba Fallacy, so I know that they’re not always the same people (case and point is me, who got a full refund for Darktide and yet I’m here complaining about the lack of solo mode), but I do believe there’s not an insignificant number of players who overlap in the venn diagram of players who complain and thr players who engage/throw money at Fatshark. Such as players who may moan about how crappy the cosmetics are and the FOMO shop, but still buy Aquilas for that new skin they like ---

I think that we just see a lot of complaints, but they’re not always from the same people. I’ve _always_ disliked new modes in ‘tide games. I’m pretty consistent on that. I’m not excited hearing about them and even when I try to give them a fair shake when they come out I find I dislike them. I’ve always been excited for new classes, though. ---

Well we know we got a class coming but after that I’d like - maps - weapons - map mutators/modifiers I think asking fatshark to give up all content development to focus on balance and bug fixes will never happen. ---
