When will the Expedition grid refresh?

Does anyone know when the Expedition map grid is set to rotate? Will it be a seasonal reset similar to Havoc, or do we have a different timeline ?

They might know. They might not. But they don’t want to tell us, because I’ve asked.

I suspect that means the answer is embarrassing.

I would have thought the next rotation, at least, is built and ready to go. Be an odd decision to prep a new mode, launch it, promise new rotations, and then not have a plan.

I assume it would be when the next havoc rotation happens if I had to guess.

We basically have 2 modifiers (dogs and tornadoes), all the other “modifiers” (more areas, more time, only Valkyrie items, or something like that) are more trivial or inherent to the mechanics of the mode itself, and the 2 modifiers were released with several bugs.

The dog modifier is clearly buggy: there’s no time limit between hordes, the dogs have difficulty moving around the map and get stuck in a specific place (probably because they spawn in a place too far away to have aggro).
The tornado modifier has problems spawning invisibly (still), collision problems (they even pull inside buildings and dense walls), they take a long time to disappear, and there’s an absurd drop in frames (if you have problems with drastic FPS drops in the expedition, apart from the frame gen problems, it’s basically the tornadoes spawning).
In short, I don’t expect new modifiers anytime soon, after all, the devs haven’t fixed (or even tested) 2 modifiers, imagine the next ones. Or we’ll have the rushed release of new buggy modifiers (imagine hordes of Mutants without limit).

When the next class arrives would be my guess, they might do some story reason for the new class tied to new rotation (cough admech searching for tech cough).

I would have thought the “biggest content” to date wouldn’t have launched with dogs as a chosen modifier, let alone with many other baffling decisions. And I’m not even talking about bugs.

Yet here we are.

I’m hoping the bots are patched to count as players present in an area. I just don’t get why they don’t.
