Weapon Special Action causes Heavy attack to hold

On certain primary weapons, pressing the Weapon Special Action button (set to mouse button 4 for me) while charging a heavy attack, causes the heavy attack to never complete its swing. Rarely (about once per mission), this seems to cause the heavy attack to hold for the full duration even when no button is pressed. This sometimes causes some messed up combos in game. At first I thought my mouse button was sticking but I cannot replicate a stuck mouse button anywhere else. I have found this happens on the Combat Blade, Tactical Axe, Combat Axe, and Sapper Shovel, but could be on more that I have not used.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Load into a mission or the Meat Grinder with the Tactical Axe
  2. Charge a heavy attack
  3. during the charge press the Special Action button repeatedly
