This is pretty annoying, I might be crafting something and someone starts a vote. The crafting window abruptly closes and I have to start over. Also if I was salvaging, the forge sound continues to play until I successfully salvage something else.
Ideally the vote window would just pop up over the top of whatever window I am currently viewing, or at least restore everything once the vote window is dismissed.
