Similar to this, at the bottom of the first area, before dropping to the ravine section, there is a tree enemies can walk and attack right through.

Yea since then I’ve seen them clip through those logs that you use to cross the river on Fort Brokenrecord.
That has always been the case as far as I can remember… But I might be wrong. The logs area is messy in general.
Yes i have seen area where you can cross river through bridge.
