Toughness does not regenerate swinging power maul - Ogryns

For whatever reason natural toughness regeneration ceases whenever you have a power maul out and have swung it, even in the air, for at least 3 seconds.

Club regenerates toughness in coherency. Knife regenerates toughness. Etc. Switching to a ranged weapon and using the melee attacks (gren gauntlet lights, rumbler special) doesn’t interrupt toughness regeneration.

i have no idea since it’s quite easily apparent when you are juggling a million mobs with power up charge in coherency and never getting back any toughness lol
