i played this game a lot in the xbox game pass pc and decided i want to buy it on sale. First time i started this game since 2 years maybe. The performance got so worse. How is this even legal? Im playing on a 4090 and a I9 13900K and the best you can do at lowest settings for me is 100 FPS and CONSTANT stuttering?? Why the hell Am i paying 3000€ for hardware, if your game performance is so bad? the usage is just on 50%. 50! This is ridicolous. Together with all the jokes i remember from the start of the game in 23 (no content past lv 30, useless skin store updates instead of fixing rng, performance problems for people without a 4090) this is just unbelievable. I will do my best to get my money back, because here in germany this is called fraud.
Latest 4090 drivers are to blame for me if you have updated to latest recently. FS should address but i dont think its been reported much and there is a very small % of 90 teir cards. :C you can roll back drivers might help.
are you using DLSS? game runs pretty well for me with it at max settings, no raytracing and i have a comparable setup although with a better cpu (amd) and a 50 series gpu. i know darktide is quite cpu heavy and i know amd cpus poop on the new intel trash but it shouldn’t be that big of a difference
without dlss though yeah it’s ass. but that’s just how it is nowadays, you’re fighting an unwinnable battle if you pull a hard line at not using dlss
i also didnt really update my drivers lately so if the latest batch is scuffed like big28k says that probably would be it
What are resolution are playing? 1080/1440p? Are you using frame generation? Is Ray Tracing enabled?
i have a 7800x3d and a 4090 and haven’t noticed anything of these issues. playing on a 1440p 480 hz monitor and using dlss.
Got 4070 and it runs fine in 1440p
I am running a 4000 series graphics card (forget which) and I don’t have any problems.
