Could you please incorporate ablative wards with 1 corruption resistance curio perk in your build and report back after a couple of games?
For what purpose? I generally avoid corruption like the plague (excuse the pun) as Skitarii. Especially gas etc
Yet another thing that scum has over Skitarii!
Its amazing in havoc but more of an insurance clause against idiot teammates in auric. But considering they can be a hidden difficulty modifier that is still insane value even in the rounds all it contributes is like 60 corruption damage. Like the revive skull, could be a dead node when your team plays well and then you get 1 game where you get to use it multiple times clutching.
But still people should acknowledge the much weaker immediate regens and mostly over time restore of Skitarius makes their gameplay closer to Vermintide 2 or launch Darktide. You have to actually not get hit a lot. More characters should have this.
Please, just try it. it negates so many things and the few corruption points are a non-factor.
Ok will do, but it’s not corruption that is the root of the squishiness for me.
But that is not a justification for some of the Skitarii’s talents being not only copied from other classes but also weaker versions. If the goal is to create class differentiation, these weaker talents certainly need other effects as compensation.
This is why they should offload a boon or 2 from scum to skittles imo. Scum just got given everything.
To add to this, push attack → light → heavy seems to be the cleave combo for the duellist mode, like how push attack → light → heavy → heavy is the ST combo for the cleave mode.
Me when I don’t understand game design.
It doesn’t matter if singular nodes are copied as stronger or weaker versions. What matters is the end result of effective toughness and hp after we add in all damage reduction and TDR. And also the amount of toughness restoration nodes available.
On this front, there seems to be a theme for Skitarii, as most of their toughness is regen over time which doesn’t give you jumps of toughness, but rather a steady flow which I find very well balanced, and I’ve been playing h40 extensively the last weekend.
Surely the person who designed the Skitarii to require spending 8 talent points to achieve what other classes get with 4 points must really know game design well.
But not in a vacuum either, Skitarii’s many toughness over time talents stack and supplement the weaker instant toughness generation.
FS could just make it 1:1 for exact talents… but I’m not sure where the balance would lie then either too powerful… too weak. Even 1:1 would be effectively less with Skitarii’s lower toughness pool. =/
