when the recent drivers came out the upscaling is isnt working
Thanks for the report @BlackwinterStorm. I’ve shared this with the team and we’ll investigate.
In the meantime, if latest drivers aren’t playing nicely, please try rolling back to a prior driver version.
also the game will crash and say out of memory when i turn on ray tracing to meduim for only short few mins @FatsharkLev

@BlackwinterStorm sorry for the delayed reply! I was on holiday last week.
Interestingly, our developers tested this, and no issue was found with upscaling working for 26.5.1 AMD drivers on our end.
Perhaps a clean driver reinstall (by using dedicated driver uninstall software e.g. Display Driver Uninstaller or similar) of your GPU drivers could help here.
alr ty and i might found the corporate of the iusse mpo might cause it and np that you were holliday everyone needs that once in a while
and i revert to it but its still doesnt work prrobably there is something wrong with the game i checked the folder where the amd setting are but they wont turn on
and i keep seeing a file called amd_fidelityfx_loader_dx12 in the binaries folder hwhen i verify the files on steam @FatsharkLev
that might be cause of upscailng not working at all

It’s a shot in the dark, but if a file is consistently flagging up when verifying files then instead I recommend trying a clean reinstallation of Darktide which involves deleting your AppData (please note custom settings e.g keybinds, graphics, loadouts etc. will be reset):

it might take 2 hours of downloading and im gonna eat soon also and i might gonna sleep after come home from eating at the mcdoalnds its been a rough day at work
i have backed up the previous user_setting where my mods settings than i dont need to waste an other 20 mins on it and some need some ui change and im not in the mood to that all over again
nope it still dont work at this point its amd related welp im gonna report it on the amd driver
Sorry to hear that it’s tricky as we’ve been unable to replicate the issue, so the issue appears not to widespread or affecting the driver version generally. If you learn anything after reporting with AMD please let us know.
it happend on the new bf game on a driver update before the prevous one and they did stated it in the driver update logs it also happens on other games like the new bf game they are somewhat aware of the upscaling iusse in few games like the bf game
i did send a bug report for upscailing and frame gen for darktide and space marine 2 and hopefuly for other games who has the same problem
i hope that frame gen and upscailing will be fixed
and any news on it that it will be fixed
@BlackwinterStorm unfortunately no, as this wasn’t reproducable on our end. If you reported this to AMD what did they advise?
