If you check your launcher logs the game just doesn’t have a database entry for the 9000 series performance yet so it loads what I assume are defaults

Just swap FSR versions while in the launcher
Alright i hope it will be changed that it will detect fsr4 as default in the near future when fluid motion frames 3.1 comes
What? Just choose FSR 3.1 in the launcher. As long as a game uses 3.1 or later the AMD driver changes it to FSR 4 regardless of whether the game or launcher says so. That’s why there’s the AMD popup saying FSR 4 is active.
AFMF is not the same as in game FSR/frame gen. It’s done outside the game so it always looks and feels worse.
Oh alright
All that’s needed is for a game to support FSR 3.1 or later. As long as you have FSR 4 enabled in adrenaline (which it is by default) then the AMD driver will see a game loading FSR 3.1 and swap it out for it’s internal FSR 4 version. That both makes it easier for devs to implement it and for people to use it in games that don’t officially support it (This is also why when Windows replaces your graphics driver you don’t get the FSR 4 popup anymore even if it’s on in Adrenaline).
AMD also doesn’t mandate that devs name FSR 4 itself in game to be listed as supporting it. Some games do mention FSR 4 if you’re using a 9000 series card. Monster Hunter Wilds comes to mind. It’s neat but not required.
Darktide is listed as supporting FSR 4 on AMDs compatible game list despite none of the menus changing to show FSR 4:
