I don’t use reddit, I don’t use discord, I made an account here specifically to get updates and troubleshooting help. From what I’ve seen so far is that information is freely given out on reddit and discord and i so far have relied on people reposting it here complaining. I’d expect every update or important information to make its way here first since this is where the majority of players are browsing since this is an official forum.
**I have seen no information at all, meanwhile i see snapshots of the discord with information i want to see that’s been posted days ago** The lack of communication here is stupid
also no help in the tech support page, all i ever get is “acknowledged” or basic troubleshooting like network stuff etc, Im not r\*\*\*\*\*\*d i know how my PC works

Discord is not the way…use your own forums. FFS copy and paste whatever you are posting on every other media outlet in the tab called _gasp_ “Announcements.” In hindsight, I suppose using Discord makes it easier to ban people and delete comments.

The entire fiasco is incredible to me.
Fatshark releases a half baked product, makes promises they were never going to keep, has their CEO lie to the community about the slimy cash grab tactics via ingame currency packs, then has their Lead Designer tell us he’s happy with how the game is received, then everyone goes on vacation and nearly a month after Christmas we get the first bits and pieces of “info” that’s really just “No info”
And even **then** there’s not only no effort made to spread this among the community, but instead it appears there’s an attempt to obfuscate their own messaging as much as possible.

I agree that the forums should be the first place for information why have them otherwise.
Actually logged in this morning because I usually check every morning for the last month about any news or updates about dark tide and there hasn’t been any the last news piece on their website was in December 20th almost a month ago WTF

I’m willing to put in some brain power to help you out but you got to give me more information than I don’t know that’s why I’m here. Here are some basic questions.
Can you play other games?
What is your FPS in those other games?
Does your computer work with Windows?
What graphics card and processor are you using?
How much memory does your system have?
Have you updated windows and the drivers for all of your hardware?
Here’s some more specific questions. I recommend uninstalling Steam and your game then reinstalling steam then reinstalling dark tide before answering the following.
What happens when you start the game?

Bad idea, because all poeple will actually QQ there then and destroy a decent place for real feedback.

Updates get posted here, there are just no real updates about the game actually. Just some posts from CM´s. It´s obviously FS wants to turn the game and tries to listen.
Also if you´ve issues with the game, just open a thread. FS Julia or so will take care for it and tries to help, maybe even via DM.

yes, this is the only game ive had any issues with

not really related since it varies game to game
Does your computer work with Windows?
yes

arc 770m (rtx2070 had same issues)
How much memory does your system have?
32gb
Have you updated windows and the drivers for all of your hardware?
i have tried 5 versions of drivers for both intel and NVidia, windows is fine
issue is most likely network related, and on fat sharks end not mine,
i get to the character selection and cant get past it, gives me an error when i select a character and sends me back
