I’m gonna let you in on a little secret. You don’t just start writing nonsensical gibberish under the guise of “the same logic” which you seek to undermine. You first did it when you drew that false house analogy. Again, you did it when you basically said “pointing out x is not identical to y does not disprove the analogy”. Which is true, but nothing close to what I did. You’ll notice I never claimed darktide blessings and houses lacked identicality, instead my form was closer to “x does not share the relevant characteristics with y to serve as an analogy”. Two for two, you’ve attacked a misconstrued version of my comments now. This is where the trendy, overused “strawman” buzzword is actually warranted in its use.
I’ll also let you in on another secret. My reply was a response to your comment. Your analogy was a response my reply. I then rebutted your analogy. Can you guess what you then proceeded to do? You can’t backpedal now and say this was all never relevant after playing tennis with me. Your actions betray your words. You have three options: 1. point out that you think something is irrelevant and refuse to engage with it, 2. just don’t respond at all, or 3. engage with and thus legitimize the relevance of it.
