Stupid Havoc Bug

Crashed on mission load. Everyone kicked out of game/team. Game STILL thinks we’re a team and playing. Forces all players to cancel and get punished. Fking wot m8.

Do anything to not stay in game.

It’s been severely broken for me too. Super laggy games in general and there’s just constant little bugs like this.
This all really makes me hate how gaming needs all these stupid little weekly/daily loops that end up just breaking the game. This could’ve been just a mission select with modifier select and it would’ve worked perfectly. This dumb live service dogshite added absolutely nothing

Ehhhh but also it did. I’m happy for anything new that adds to the game. But these little bugs aint it… If league of legends had these “toothing” problems in s2-s3 when I started playing, it wouldnt have grown to what it is today (even though League is cursed now).

I didn’t mean in general, I meant in terms of Havoc implementation. Completely pointless how it’s this weekly thing, and as a result it’s broken as hell. Terrible decision to implement it in this way, even more terrible decision to implement it this way right before going on holiday

Overall I’m not a huge fan either, VT2 had more content by now without any of the drawbacks. I think around this time VT2 had its first DLC class

Yeah I know, but I mean in general. I’m still happy about Havoc being created and how it works. Ion play much nowadays but I still get something when I log in here n there. There theres finally harder missions to stress to. After a round of 35+, Auric aint sht.

Still, doesnt mean it cant be better.

It’s surreal looking back through the V2 announcements and comparing updates it was getting at the same age as Darktide. Heck, it was around this age they announced Darktide. Regular map releases, weaves was… around, we got beastmen. Bardin’s engineer was right around the corner. It wasn’t until year 3 that we got the beloved Chaos Wastes but there were way more maps being released.

That said, I’m not going to forget how buggy the tide games have always been and I wouldn’t say Darktide is unplayability buggy like how V1 or V2 were from time to time. It was a few months ago I tried playing chaos Wastes and it was literally impossible to beat because of the constant crashing while they were testing the pvp.

If they removed the deranking part of Havoc and just let you pick a map and modifiers for difficulties you’ve already beaten there would be minimal complaining about the odd server f-up.
