To make progress in the event, complete missions with the Rumbling Giants condition.
This event is LIVE NOW until March 17. The rewards will be Ordo dockets, Plasteel and Diamantine. Those who complete the last tier of the event will receive a cosmetic insignia.
I had hoped you learned by now that players want 500 Aquila’s rewards for every event.
The crafting resources and dockets are kind of useless for most Veteran players and the insignia is kind of meh, would much rather a universal backpack or animated frame etc.
Anyways, I hope you’ll finally listen to user feedback on events one day, but it’s pretty clear you don’t care since you’ve had a long time to fix this problem with events.
Damn shame there are no more aquilas for these events, they were a fantastic motivator, I know I’m only a few away from being able to afford even the most basic cosmetics, so close yet so far!
Homie, I say this with all the love in my heart for this game: Going on year 4 of this title, with an established playerbase and with the game economy in the state that it’s in, these rewards are simply not a meaningful incentive to get people to log off Helldivers or DRG or other games to play Darktide, or make people especially jazzed to play this modifier en-masse instead of their normal mission choices.
It really feels like the design and incentive structure of these events is being phoned-in to check something off a goal list for a sunsetting product.
DRG has a lunar new year event and whole new season up to check out, Helldivers has a ton of new Warbond material and a new campaign to destroy Cyberstan with a heavily reworked Automaton faction, while all Darktide is offering up is some spare crafting mats and an extra helping of Ogryn enemies
Why on Holy Terra you omissed most important information, what does this moddifier actually do. No one here really cares about pittance of Plastil, are barerly anyone about 596th isignia.
You even put small flavour text, which is not bad on itself, but when you put this much effort into thinking out that, you couls also write how does the modifier work.
m8 you got a cap on Ordo dockets and significant portion of your players got hundred of thousands of Plasteel and Diamantine.

Also, i don’t understand what is the obsession with polluting quickplay with the event missions over and over again? What needs to be done for it to stop?
Your events are bad and that’s okay, what isn’t okay is having quickplay kidnapped for 2 weeks…

The way it writen is, i had to read flavour text to undestand, and by look of it:
More ogryn type enemies, More Mosters, More barrels and grenadiers(???)…
And that is the info that should be included in the announcment.
Although, some info is still missing, like which ogryns explode, do they have some marking? what does the explosion do, damage or only stagger? how does blitz regen work, is it flat cooldown same on all classes and blitzes? how it affect psykers? does it stack with talent tree regen?
For communication from someone whos job is to communicate, I’d say they didn’t make good enough effort.
Hi Stg ( high intensity shock troop gauntlet ) was part of the day of atonement event and I was so happy we got Hi stg in events because it really makes a difference, hi stg missing from the stims event and this one is kind of a let down either way its cool
I dont need aquillas either some people are just spoiled
Please integrate these lame events into havoc some way. Id rather not spend the little time i get to play grinding snoozefest difficulties, that feels like a chore. Even better just let me use in game currency to buy the cosmetic so i can avoid these events entirely
