Yeah, but, can you beat the “Oh shite” moment of thinking you’re safe after popping 10 ragers into a cloud of green fart only to see a slowly lumbering crusher move forward, 1ms away from dropping the club on you?
I played this modifier first time yesterday. Through a dodging ogryn, Crushers and the fart cloud, came down a silent Mauler’s lunging overhead. I suppose my bad for lining myself up behind the big man and trusting what I could perceive on the screen.
Just wanted to clarify that the ‘infested armour’ bit was more of a fluff thing to describe their extra nurgle-y status, did not mean to make it seem like the armour type was changed. They’re still flak/carapace afaik.
Apologies for any confusion! We’ll try to avoid using wording that can be mistaken for in-game terms in the future ![]()
Perfect example of being disconnected from pragmatism.
FS, your in game definitions are obscure and they suck.
Aside of this fail, we deserve a proper lexicon and you need to open your eyes to the reality where regular people use words for their actual meaning.
You’re not going to avoid it easily, unless you stop using adjectives altogether.
It seemed obvious that it was a figure of speech in this case but I suppose a few words on the buff’s effect might be another way to clarify.
Not obvious at all, since they have already had modifiers that did change armour types (cranial corruption and technically Moebian 21st) and they did change the visuals and sound effects on hitting the affected units.
This event has been extended to August 14!
They didn’t say anything about ranged damage, at all, and this is the only thing the event does (ok and fart deaths). They talk about ‘infested armor’ instead. Apparently this is confusing if you have some sort of logical association from terms pulled directly from their own vocabulary of specific terms and enemy types. Silly them…they probably think cause and effect is a thing too.
I will admit right now this event was amazing, fun and a good challenge for the average of players. It was interesting to have a challenge that was at an Auric level regardless of opinion and challenge. It made me go for builds that directed against anti-armor and kept thing interesting. Thanks FS
new havoc rotation, where is the notification?
for reference just remove the rotation principle and it will be great
Honestly I would like this modifier to stay, but after Fatshark tones down the particle effects around the affected elites. You can barely see anything in melee as it is.
Then in that case FatShark deciding to remove them due to those idiotic crying babies would make FatShark no better than those idiotic crying babies at all.
I wouldn’t mind if stayed in rotation permanently.
What is the ranged resistance. 75% initial ranged fire resistance then it drops to 50% something like that I read somewhere datamined. In an already melee focused game, going to affect Vet mains a lot more.
I concur, I am here to play the game, not expecting handouts no cap no bs
It’s the “I’m broke yet I own X,000 currency gaming computer” jerks whom also bag on “console plebs” and then “console plebs” that keep wanting aquilas as rewards rather than wanting to enjoy anything in the game
Mind the haters, I myself have bought mtx from working a job and implementing similar factors of spending money in hobbyist manners.
Sorry-not-sorry, yet some just want to be this way, don’t want to put in for the trade of a job’s wages for something like an mtx or the work put in of a dev
Usually the first to cry on the forums about the smallest things.
You need a baseball bat just to clear a path on the forums to respond to posts due these types oxygen stealers, then they flag your post if you respond to them as the response hits to close to home.
Only way to be!
I’m sorry, your grammar is a bit difficult to parse: are you trying to insult the people who complain about shop mtx and calling them unemployed, or arguing against the people who insult the previous category?
It’s mostly a frustration with the bemoaning in the player base
@FatsharkKitefin Rotation on Havoc is cool, of course, but words cannot describe how boring it is to play 3.5 maps in a circle day after day. Remove the rotation principle, add all map and mutators to the pool
This would be the best solution, but someone would hate the idea or how it looked on the map selection panel. There will always be crying in the forums.
