Soulstealer staff feels very bad (Necromancer Sienna)

The Necromancer exclusive staff has both increased heat generation and less damage on its right click when compared to its PvE equivalent - to the point of being unable to kill a special even if venting the almost 100% heat it generates on a single use.

This is in stark contrast to the Sister of the Thorn’s Deepwood Staff, which has has a 40(?)second cooldown against specials in Versus on its right click disable/lift up, but still manages to feel impactful if situational.

I think I’d like it to at least generate less heat so it can be used multiple times on specials that don’t move into cover; it doesn’t need to have its nasty original damage.

I do agree with this somewhat maybe if the staff had a stagger of some kind to specials, other than that maybe a basic damage increase.

I agree.

Wow, no wonder the staff felt surprisingly awful compared to when i used it last time (when necro first came out). Thought i was just going crazy. Definitely need to reverse some of those nerfs.
