Personally, I think replacing it with a non-grenade based Blitz would be nice, be more variety than grenade-grenade-grenade. The other classes all get a unique thing (rocks, knives, and Psykers being Psykers) so why not a powerful single shot handgun for the Veteran that recharges over time (a la the Saltzpyre Bounty Hunter special from VT2)?
