It’s really cool how foreign language Dubs tend to localise jokes and phrases, since the original ones wouldn’t make sense in another language.
If I remember correctly, the entire stereotype of Germans being “humourless” and “serious” comes from how English jokes and phrases rarely translate well into German and vice versa.

but not the one I was remembering 
edit: being pedantic even when literally getting a stem cell infusion, I fear I was mistaken about it hailing from the simpsons in the first place.
searched german simpsons wiki and could find a bunch of schiss etc that’s the trigger for 
gag, but Einar eludes me as a quote from there.
now Futurama might have been a second source of such quotes, but normally I took pride in an extensive vocabulary of unecessary simpsons quotes.
