Yes, as I have clearly explaimed many times in this thread
Well, they used to.
I have not been in the shop for ages, but you used to get a full set including weapon skins.
If not, then the people, paying out for this are being ripped off, and even more reason to not hand money to FatScam… sorry FatShark.
Or maybe that should be TenScum… sorry Cents.
I can’t remember how many rotations had weapon & trinkets in the skin sets. One? Three? Somewhere between those I think.
What those, and the current weapon-less skin packs, are worth is entirely up to the people buying them.
I am happy to skip cosmetics altogether.
Feb 2023 - £15 Darktide steam key
DLC class - £11
Cosmetics spent - £0
…3000hrs
I think FS lost money for hosting me. The bandwidth and server overhead of me playing online at a one off fixed cost £15 for 2.5 years.
Yeah, anbd people wonder why the gaming industry is so toxic and gamers are being fleeced at every opportunity.
They’re e-pants, not content. They don’t even add hours like warbonds in HD2. Don’t want to support the game, don’t buy them.
the very first ones had one melee and one ranged weapon fitting the “theme”, not a skin for each weapon.
so it wasnt “full” even back then.
and given there wasnt a single one of those cases since the game was released, i call it unreasonable.
sure you can wish for whatever and if there was a precedence case anywhere for that definition of “complete”, you’d be right.
but so far its a set / a character and it continues with the new class.
I’m mean, I would love to get a few skins.
But it’s just scam to fleece players, with more money than sense.
I have played about 1050 hours since launch, and it has only gotten worse over time. Once upon a time, the quick swap key was actually the quick swap, now your lucky if it works half the time.
It’s a 4 player game, I don;t see why you need servers, P2P, seems to work brilliantly for most games that use this.
Three I think - at least one made a reappearance without those weapon and trinket skins.
Plus all the effectively identical recolors.

sure you can wish for whatever and if there was a precedence case anywhere for that definition of “complete”, you’d be right.
Yeah, there are a few games out there that do this.
Was watching youtube vid a few days ago with someone talking about a popular game that does this.
And gamers were open to it, as they got their monies worth, and more people were happy to play.
I just can’t remeber for the life of me what the game was called though.
And raised the prices too, IIRC. For somethign they had already made.
It’s not only FOMO, but lets leave it long enough so we can raise the price next time round.
And if that is not the case, it certainly feels that way.
It’s fine, I love a good joke
“tog the tankcrusher”
“grukk the chosen”
“boulder of bagordan”
and the one with the leopard pants, if i remember correctly, had weapon skins included
the first 3 i got in my collection
I usually use red tops, and white pants for characters.
Coz the British red coats, and all my characters have the names of British commanders during the Napoleonic Wars to match.
I am just annoyed that some of the weapons dont have the matching red, so can’t complete the look I am after.

some of the weapons dont have the matching red
up until pickaxe the ordo store had the bland red and blue versions, pickaxe candy stick was a penance one i think.
so if you wanna go red coat in xxxxxl, ogryn got red weaponry
tl, dr.
you like the new class, you pay 12 $ or €. no one is forcing you to buy cosmetics for it, or even the class alone. you can play the game with the original 4 classes perfectly well.
seriously, almost anyone could earn that money in the time it took to write and read this comedy.
this thread is great for showign why FOMO kills games. leads to a toxic has vs has nots mentality and people forget the CORE of gaming.
why games like destiny 1/2 and all the darktide esque clones like halo, aliens, etc all die yet L4D2 lve on for being free and open.
even WoW learning why FOMO is a bad practice. quick money vs a lasting legacy never ends well for the quick cash grab fools.
tbf, while I agree FOMO is bad, the DLC isn’t that

leads to a toxic
Doubt, we were born with it!
