Issue Description (Required):
I built a new computer last year (specs provided as an image), and for some reason when I look around in game, the game does constant freezes before warping my view to the end of my movement. No other games I play have issues like this, including Darktide. This has lasted through multiple driver updates and reinstallations dating back to last year. My current drivers are version 596.49 (released May 12, 2026) from nvidia. Game is running in DX12.
I made a video but it’s too large to be uploaded directly, so here’s a youtube link showing it off: https://youtu.be/JNpyc-z4wN8
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Start game
- Look around

Hm, I wonder if external software or an overlay hooking in could be the culprit here
Does your mouse use any external software? Is this up-to-date? or if any gaming overlays are enabled - can you try disabling them?
Otherwise, a ‘Selective Startup’ to disable background applications may help:
- Press the Windows key
- Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
- On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
- Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
- Reboot your PC
Or, if you haven’t done so already, trying a clean reinstallation of Vermintide 2 which involves deleting your AppData (please note custom settings e.g. graphics, keybinds etc. will be reset):

Please let me know how things go.
The Startup Items trick seems to have worked, but I have no clue why or what exactly I disabled.
Glad that helped! If you want to deduce the culprit, you can try enabling your startup programs again one-by-one
