Rumor Mill

Yes, but it does show that FS are aware about the GSC models, even if it doesn’t mean that they’d be introduced to the game as other than set pieces.

There is also the GSC patriarch miniature who had the vent it stand upon which is also used in the game (in the train station)

Here’s some more bits…

Road to no Man’s Land, close models could be salvaged by some GSC…

Gloriana Mission

Never noticed all the times Swagger keeps ahead very much like tank escort mission… they also question how the Heretics discovered the mobian steel site and someone tipping them off… someone like Swagger…

Swagger - To walk with a swaying motion; hence, to walk and act in a pompous, consequential manner.

… still seems very Eldar to me… though alot of things are pompous

I don’t think he is anything close to Eldar, except being a Xenos. Eldar on principal wouldn’t care to even touch anything imperial built, let alone know the systems, and the knowledge needed to operate them. It’s simply beneath them to even fathom the thought, let alone the hill they would die on protesting how infantile the “human species” is compared to them.

There is something to gain with all this mobien steel, Swagger would need it online. Being so involved in re-activating the forge, literally leading the operation, it wouldn’t surprise me if he syphoned off some of the mats for his cults use. Rejects do not even walk the same path as him on the way to the forge, they are not permitted to see what he is doing, this means he has something to hide. His veil of transparency is at face value. Hadron needs this online. For Swagger, the need to build underground for a GSC faction would be one of its main priorities. He is quite literally steering Grendyls forces to points of interest and controlling the “flow of data”, as Hadron would say. She is only satisfied with result and Admech are habitually willing to accept “risks” if they get what they want.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Also, Swagger having existing knowledge of how to operate Admech built structures, including the knowledge gained if he is infected leads me down the GSC route. Hadron is very intrigued by the amount of knowledge Swagger actually has, like Rannick, he seems to always have the answer or at the very least know where to find it.

Id be curious to see if Swagger had a model without wearing his coat. A lot of books have cultists hidden arm underneath coats, wrapped tightly to their chest or behind their back even.

The biggest issue with Swagger being a GSCultist is that the Inquisition currently has the means to find it, not on a large scale enough to test people, but still for their internal operatives.

Its not unheard of for inquisitors to work with xenos, specifically the Eldar. Rogue trader (the video game) even has Druhkari join their ranks. The difference is the hive mind and their need to feed.

In the Carcharadon series. Book 2 deals with this exact threat. Space marines show up to end the GSC threat before the shadow in the warp can detect the planet. Its bloody awesome. In the book, Inquisitor Augim Nzogwu is tricked by GSC Arbities, but they do work together up until the GSC find him no longer useful. He wasnt a very bright inquisitor, to be fair he was Ordo Hereticus primarily exploring why the Carcharadons liked to eat brains and drink blood. Granted if Augim knew the Arbities were xenos he would of handled it differently.

I hope Grendyl knows swagger is a GSC cultist and choosing to fight one battle at a time. Exploring this niche of a circumstance is what could make Darktides story great. It could also be why the Eldar have their sights on Atoma. Grendyls Radicalism is teetering on the brink already with the Nurgle threat.

+1

BTW Eldars are Xenos, any alien is a Xenos.

Tyranids are Xenos too.

A bit suspicious he is waving goodbye to the team as they get lifted off. Personally making sure the “coast is clear” before he attends to one or two things..

@Raichu I did play the forge mission again last night. It was quite funny when Swagger literally mentioned in the train section that everyone has been asking about where he got his outfit. A “would you like to know more” jest.

It did get me thinking about if Swagger has doppelgangers…

Enginseer Kayex is bigger than Ogryn…?

Maybe he’s going Robotnix size

It took me some time to know what was the first (EDIT: second) image.

I didn’t know if start a new post.

But since this is the “Rumor Mill” I will ask it here.

Anyone else thinks that Wolfer is Zola’s brother?

Who went to fight for the Emprah… and ended up worshiping Nurgle?

That would explain why she is SO DESPERATE to get one of the Karnak, to interrogate about Wolfer.

What do you thiiiink?

It’s confirmed afaik.

Eh?

WHEN?!

Not confirmed, but heavily pointed at

Wolfer (Biron)
Karnak (Rinda

I want this story to continue!!!

Fatshsaaaark!

So… Rannick knows about it I guess.

Oh mamma…

This is a soap opera.

I mean, considering that Mortis Trials has a whole section (Zola’s memories) covering it, it’s basically all but confirmed. And even then, we had an inkling of it way before Mortis trials came out, not even counting Dark Communion’s heavy implications.

More details about their relationship

Thank you.
