I think a big part of the issue is that they buffed Crushers, and cut their normal spawns, but didn’t change the spawning on Rotten Armour, so you’re still getting 12+ Crushers onscreen at once.
and it’s Crushers specifically, Maulers and Ragers can be dealt with, they’re not /that/ tanky, and most weapons deal acceptable damage to Flak. Crushers having full Carapace (despite also counting as Infested in Rotten Armour) limits the number of weapons that are viable into them, and that modifier as a whole.
Easiest fix would be to have Rotten Armour /actually/ change them to Infested, not Carapace with Infested tagged on
It was responding to an assertion made about how Arrowhead was failing and disappointing their crowd and that Fatshark was only improving, but the market data don’t appear to reflect that story given the available metrics.
If they want to really do something that would anger the community put in the shitty dutch spice auras. Have enemies that spawn in with double hp and reduces your mobility by 50% when you’re anywhere near them.
While i admit Rotten Armor sends ridiculous quantities of absurdly tough (why bonkers ranged DR?) armoureds at you, and has been quite probably the leading singlehanded run-ender for me and mine…
I still love to play it.
The ranged DR feels overly restrictive tho considering sheer quantity of dudes, I’d be happy to see that tweaked especially now that its grown beyond a special event modifier.
I haven’t touched Havoc since Hive Scum was introduced and the Rotten Armour changes dropped. Before that with exception of one season when I took a break from Darktide, I climbed to H40 in pseudo public groups (pseudo because I usually played with 1 gaming mate of mine).
Havoc can be fun, I definitely like the extra intensity and challenge, but stuff like Rotten is making Havoc tedious and too restrictive. All because Fatshark is too afraid to nerf weapons and builds which should have been hot fixed after it was made apparent by the community that Fatshark designers and QA missed those fairly obvious issues.
Arrowhead dont disappoint when realase funcional game and break it after?

Bugs after every update and optmalization get worse to.
No information about Sony account is temporally disabled to deal with issiues and when it was turned on players from like 200 regions lost access, waste time and money they spend on HD2.
Even if DT realse in bad state and make mistakes along the way FS mange to turn things around, when AH have good start but made mistaked along the way.
Still think AH is better than FS?
Well like for me both are pretty much same, maybe FS is slightly better.
And if I really want to trash AH I will gone on whole rant, but Im not gona waste any more time on subject, especially since this topic isnt about whos game have “better” steam or other stats.
