Remove the stability stat from lasguns. Having recoil and spread on a laser weapon is silly.
Replace stability with precision damage (weakspot / headshot multiplier increase.) or + critical damage multiplier / +Critical Hit chance.

Replacing Stability with Finesse (Critical + Weakspot hit multiplier stat) would be dang nice for sure. Would be a helpful bump and they are all based around headshots AND crits to begin with so that would be nice.
This, at least Starfield did energy weapons right.
Wasnât there something about how they tried doing lasguns with no recoil, but they felt like ass to shoot? Gamefeel over ârealismâ is important.

Mostly down to it being a stat I think. One could still have recoil but not have âstabilityâ be a stat, and instead just have set recoil with Finesse replacing the variance. Think that would probably be âthe bestâ if I had to choose.
Imo it should be reverse - having long range recoilless high mobility weapon with high damage is OP. So the best option - bring recoil and spread + maybe decrease range, then buff dmg.
sure, but having so much recoil as to have a category to waste a split of 380 stats is pretty silly.
The problem isnât the existence of recoil, itâs the existence of a useless stat.
