# Random crashes (started in the last couple weeks)

### Issue Description (Required):

The game crashes during play. It crashes about 75% of the time whether I’m solo, hosting, or in a game.

I actually (just because it was time) did a total reinstall of Windows. My gaming machine is almost purely for gaming and aside from Discord and a browser I have nothing but Steam installed. At the moment VT2 is the only game installed.

This is either related to the most recent balancing patches or, potentially, the latest GPU drivers so far as I can tell.

Hello.

I can see that you are encountering an Access Violation and have a Ryzen 5 CPU. This can usually be solved by updating your motherboard BIOS and limiting the number of Worker Threads used by Vermintide 2. Please give the directions in this link a try and let me know how it goes for you.

Having said that, is there a reason this would have started happening recently? My hardware has been the same for a year.

This appears to have done the trick! Thanks. I was able to play three rounds in a row with a friend without a crash. It’s been weeks since I could do more than one.
