If someone else tags a grenade, you as a psyker can hit your tag button to say “I need that!” Therefore, I think psykers should get one grenade option. Something psyker themed. Perhaps some sort of Soulfire grenade, or a head pop grenade? I don’t know, I’m not too familiar with 40k and what would be lore-friendly, if anything.
What about a grenade that lets you see all enemies through walls in a certain radius for an amount of time?
I’m always interested into seeing more blitzes, but not really one tied to physical grenades. The voice lines is the same as the ammo one iirc.
The funniest option would be a vortex grenade they could imbue with power themselves, but I don’t think anybody in the Inquisition would approve of the psyker running around with a daemonic WMD.
Fixing Psyker’s current Blitzes before adding another would be great.
BB requires Kinetic Resonance, Flayer and/or Empowered Psionics to be an effective Blitz in higher difficulties. It needs a charge time reduction, at least 67% reduction in base charge time, with Resonance switched for something different.
Smite provides way too much stagger, too frequently. It’s a bad design in a game with so many Talents focused around dodging. It needs a CD, limited charges.
Assail is fine.
BB is the only blitz in the game which requires multiple talents to be effective or in fact usable.
It’s a bit of a tricky one to balance. On one hand, if it becomes too strong it renders Crushers obsolete. On the other hand, it doesn’t have the AOE other Blitzes have.
Giving Brain Burst an ammo system à la Assail would be nice. This giving them the ability to buff the casting time of it.
Even if I use a build that has BB, it’s solely on the idea of having Kinetic Flayer that let me proc it every so often, keeping BB aside to avoid down times.
