Power Relay area in Clandestium Gloriana needs to be clear of enemies

I’m not going to complain about the people playing because it doesn’t matter how much I moan about it, gamers are going to be idiots and I just have to deal with that forever. Instead, we need to adjust the game to compensate for stupidity.

The first crescendo event in Clandestium Gloriana is chock full of elite enemies that nobody bothers to clear before they hit the button. This inevitably (always, ALWAYS) results in the whole team being overwhelmed before the objective can be done, resulting in a wipe. Flat out, just cull the enemies from this area, don’t let them spawn in until you hit the button. Save me some headache.

I think they should add a terminal that starts the event so more is cleared. Put it near the corner at the far end of the room.

Honestly this same issue applies to Hab Dreyko but why rob yourself of bopping to offworld auspex for the sake of not dealing with several elites + horde? I had a 22 death game earlier on hi shock Clandestium and the middle event was a slog like always. But that was more from having a thunderhammer and a shock maul on my random team, so their entity clear was non existent.

What area is the power relay area? Is that the final section? As an Ogryn main I need pictures to help the chip in my head.

If it is the only issue to me are players splitting up, which the various tasks do a good job of creating that circumstance.

It’s the one where you press the button and the electricity starts doing things, but then one of them breaks and you have to put it back in before you have to press the button again. And there are a zillion trillion bad guys trying to kill you all the while.

Ohh, I remember that area. yes. Funny everyone always scrambles away in that section.

1 player is holding the button area
1 player is opening all the chests
1 is mindlessly killing chaff ignoring the gunners
which leaves you to do everything else.

I do the Ogryn thing and follow the little one that gives me toughness or a bubble shield around. Buddy system.

The whole first event here is an IQ test for the group, and it’s usually a fail so I’m onboard with your idea.

Extra points if your team keeps trying to facetank everything near the exit gate, repeatedly.

The event should complete on three failures or one success, whichever comes first. Or make the relays a little taller so they can be actual cover or used to break line of sight.
