Please make auto stand up after slide optional

I don’t like the change from last update where you automatically stand up after sliding. It would be great if this could be optional via a toggle in the settings. Maybe make it so you automatically stand up when pressing the sprint button instead.

The reasons why this change really annoys me are:

  1. when sliding behind cover you it exposes you to enemy gunfire
  2. when sliding towards an enemy that is shooting at you, you used to be able to slide under the burst but now you are more likely to get hit
  3. I like to have full control over my movement

That sounds like a handy feature. In regards to #2 the trick is to slide in a zigzag. Sliding breaks enemy target tracking the same way dodging does, so if you use the slide to horizontally displace yourself you will never get hit.
