I never said it was enough for a specific number, I only suggested that the 4500 number should be more easily attainable. I also said that I earned most of the new Penances already by December, which is true. I’ve completed all of the Abilities/Blitz Penances since December at the latest, what the heck do you think I was doing during the Class Overhaul and Traitor Curse updates? I’ve completed virtually every mission on Auric Damnation at least once, with maybe a handful of discrepancies (due to the RNG mission board) so where have I lied?
Apart from RNG discrepancies, the only Penances I wouldn’t have already earned by now are the REALLY specific new ones, like “complete 5 Auric missions in a row without dying” for example. But because the new Penances that I HAVE completed have all failed to track, I can’t just focus on those new ones and that pisses me off.
I’m not a liar. I’m just tired of Fatshark messing up and listening to people like you yap while you are refusing to listen to others. I shouldn’t even bother, your head is so far up where the sun doesn’t shine that, in your mind, everyone but you is wrong.
It’s okay, though. I’m just making a bunch of “outrageous claims” even though I’m just telling y’all about my genuine experiences. Sorry for having a different gameplay experience, I suppose.
I feel the same as other people in this thread. I have 1600 hours in the game and I should have completed most of the penances already, having to do things I have already done is frustrating.
Calling the penances content is nonsense to me, however one can call “content” the new cosmetics if wanting to stand on a technicality. Still being content, it’s not NEW content, some were already on the game files and most are just recolors or recombinations. Of course with the exception of the Moebian 6th set, that’s the only new content for me, and they put it behind a barrier of many hours, too damn many. (Btw I dont give a single kark about emblems, titles, frames, etc. Imo it’s low effort stuff)
For people who started playing this game recently this might be okay, but for me, who has been here since the first beta, this is annoying and frustrating.
I think it’s fine rewarding grind. You don’t need these things, they’re just something to look forward to and aim towards if you do want to grind. This is by design on Fatsharks end too, if you want cool cosmetics without grinding you know what to do.
But therein lies the rub: there IS nothing new to grind towards. I cannot stress it enough that until they properly track all of our completed Penances, we are being forced to redo Penances that we have already done all over again for these rewards. This aspect of the update is REALLY good for new players but… not for people like myself who are getting tired of its repetitive nature.
Purchasing reskins, whether it is from the Commissary or Commodore’s Vestures… none of them are Moebian 6th, though.
