I can see in the dark in Hunger in the Dark’s 2nd tome room. After the Season 4 patch it happens every time. It has happened to me before Outcast path.
In Hunger in the Dark the dark area is like this if your video settings for Ambient lightning quality are low. Did you change your video settings or had them changed by Geforce Experience?
I had the same problem after i upgraded my monitor and couldnt run the old settings anymore. At the time it seemed like the new monitor had integrated nightvision
