Packmasters pulling heroes off instakill ledges

The packmaster shouldn’t be able to pull heroes out of bounds where they instantly fall to their death without grabbing onto a ledge.

Rightous Stand has multiple locations where this is possible in the second half, completely eliminating a hero at the cost of a respawn.

Pulling heroes off grabbable ledges or onto places that are only reachable by the pactsworn is bad enough but tolerable - even though it doesn’t feel great…

Yes, in the past, I supported the instakill.

But now I see it a bit unfair.

But I still think is funny…

While it is funny, it turns the Packmaster from a disabler to a quick killer in some spots, notably on Righteous Stand.

I also don’t think the Packmaster should be allowed to hoist someone up in a spot that is inaccessible to Heroes. Downing them there is already questionable, since only Warrior Priest and Mercenary have any chance of rescuing them there and those two careers already have an outsized impact on Hero performance but if a Hero is hoisted up even they can’t do anything.

I’d rather see the Packmaster get more health instead.

Yes.

A bit late as a reply but I wanted to mention that as of the Beta test, this is essentially considered a bug. Before, Hookrats pulling heroes off of any ledge would result in falling to their death.

This beta we changed that to them hanging from a ledge. If there’s any spot where Packmasters can pull heroes off to their doom without them hanging from a ledge first, it’s a bug! We’d appreciate if you could report any such areas here:

It’s ok, is fair.
