# Packmaster Animation

Packmasters appear to be hooking away from you (on client, at least) when they grab you. I know there was a patch note addressing this, but it is still occurring as of November 30th. This behavior is strange because it incorrectly telegraphs whether the packmaster is successfully going for you.

I mostly play on client and have been seeing a lot of this behavior. I saw a hookrat going for a friend and as I went to shoot him, it grabs me instead.

I was standing perpendicular to the hookrat and it grabbed me sideways despite his hook being in a completely different direction.

Looked very awkward.

It´s all part of their plan, because how can we predict their attacks when they themselves do not know who they´ll be attacking?
