Overheat Slowdown Bug

In vermintide, overcharge is generated by using a heat weapon. It has a natural decay rate and drained quickly by venting(press reload key).
On high overcharge, players receive some stats penalty. When the overcharge meter is between 65% and 80%, you have -15% attack speed. When the meter is over 80%, You have -25% attack speed, -15% dodge speed, and -15% move speed. In this video, you can see the attack speed change(in the debug window) through overcharge natural decay.
Currently, venting overcharge behaves weirdly with the overcharge penalty, it does not remove/reduce the penalty. You need natural decay to kick in at certain overcharge percentage to remove/reduce the penalty.
Sample/Trigger 1: Overcharge to over 80%, vent until overcharge between 65% and 80%; if works properly should have 65%-80% penalty(-15% attack speed), instead still has the >80% penalty. Once natural overcharge decay reduces the overcharge to <65%, penalty is removed.
Sample/Trigger 2: Overcharge to over 80%, vent until overcharge between 20% and 65%; if works properly should have no penalty, instead still has the >80% penalty. Once natural over charge decay reduces the overcharge to <20%, the penalty is removed.
Sample/Trigger 3: Overcharge to over 80%, ent until overcharge between 0% and 20%; if works properly should have no penalty, instead still has the >80% penalty. Once natural over charge decay reduces the overcharge to 0%, the penalty is removed.

Will be happy once they fix this bug. I thought it might have been an intentional nerf to overcharge weapons and was not thrilled.
