No overclocks, just did a DDU for latest drivers

I have the same issue except with the prologue cutscene in the ship

Same issue. Mine stutters then crashes to desktop. This happened in both 16:9 and 32:9

  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names

Upload user_settings.config:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’

  4. Locate the user_settings.config in this directory

Initially looks like a GPU driver issue. Please reinstall the latest Nvidia drivers, but use the “Clean Install” option. Note you must sleect the “Custom install” option first, then at one point it will ask you if you wish to do a clean install fo the previous drivers. If you use the “express install” option, the clean install option doesnt appear

This is the same as what’s being reported in KNOWN ISSUE: Crashing at Random, Due to GPU-Related Errors - #35 by br3ad, Tabatchnick is running the latest driver per their log.

No shame in trying to be helpful, of course! I just don’t want threads cluttered with endless “have u tried reinstalling drivers bro” spam when people are looking for useful advice. Speaking of useful advice:

  1. Disable DLSS.
  2. In the launcher options (NOT the game options), turn the number of worker threads down to 1. Not 2, not 4, 1.
  3. RIP your framerate, but your game may actually survive for more than 45 seconds without crashing now.

Another Beta, another Crash Sim. Tried with DLSS on and off, crashed with both options.

Issue Description:
Constantly crashing to desktop half-way through missions. Game will stutter, freeze then crash to desktop. Seems to happen specifically around when Hoards show up, but - seemingly not always, as I’ve had runs where it’s been fine.

Some things to note:

  • U.I seems to break beforehand, like ten+ minutes beforehand the U.I will dissapear and become lopsided. Holding down the point-out button causes the radial menu to appear on the bottom left corner, larger then usual - and the rest of the U.I - Such as health bars, dissapear completely.

  • Drivers are up to date. Still crashing.

  • Tried disabling DLSS. Still crashing.

  • Tried window’d mode. Still crashing.

  • I’ve made my U.I smaller through ingame settings.

  • I have raytracing off.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Processor (8C/16T, 36MB Cache, Up to 4.7 GHz Max Boost)
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC GAMING, 12G-P5-3657-KR, 12GB GDDR6, Dual-Fan, Metal Backplate

It looks like youre running driver version 512.95

Can you try upgrading to the latest Nvidia drivers which are 526.98

Updated to 526.98 and immediately got another crash on launch:
