Ogryn Talent Tree Redistribution - Head's Up

They do, magnificently so, but no so much with things like Stubbers or Ripper Guns.

Sure, and not every talent pathing can be optimal for all weapons. But these 2 nodes are grouped now, and sit across from Unstoppable Momentum (which I like but is useful with most anything) and Massacre (which works best with high ROF weapons).

biggest disappointment so far, hopefully they touched some of his weapons. krourk twin stubber, mk6 cleaver, mk2 bully, paul - none of these are fun or used.

lol that’s it ? I can still take all toughness nodes so they didn’t completely ruin the tree, that’s something I guess

Yeah really minor though I do like the Towering Presence move, saves me a point.

It’s a shame the innate coherency boost exists only on paper.

Why on earth didn’t you flatten the Ogryn tree after abilities like all other classes are? Less railroading is a good thing.

Huh? When I say Absurd… I’m talking about How Vet is more tanky than Ogryn which is absurd. They should change this rather than switching Keystones around. Last time they moved keystones around it was for the worst which is also absurd unironically. What are you even talking about, bruh? You might be confused? lol

Edit - Towering Presence is now at the top on the skill tree which is next to useless almost, who cares… I told you… Just saw a video on this, also there are obviously more important nodes still other than this of course. ABSURED. Make actual changes to Ogryn himself.

Wow, I really thought Gun Lugger might get buffed not nerfed. why would these changes be necessary?
Have any of the playtesters played in damnation or higher before?
Why limit the already limited Ogryn builds, while other classes have 5 or more builds?
what is the reasoning here?

The playtesters are all very highly skilled.

So far what i saw, its sad.
Damn i guess we need less Players playing the least played class in the game. well played devs.
I bet they only play the Kickback, instead of nerfing that thing they just nerf everything…
Devs clearly dont play Ogy.

To be completely honest, now that the 1/2 Heavy Stubbers are a thing there’s no real reason for the Kickback to have anywhere near its current effective range. The Kickback’s a breach action Blunderbuss, yet with 80% Range and a Crit it can oneshot Snipers and anything near them from the opposite side of the Consignment Yard. You could unironically run Range as its dump stat (you probably shouldn’t, but that’s not the point) and the Kickback would still have crazy effective range.

What the Kickback does now at 60% Range is what it should be doing at 80% MAXIMUM.

Can you not impede grown-up dialogue like a man-child? :blue_heart:

Sorry for saying that a clearly OP weapon needs a nerf and being genuinely constructive about it. :person_shrugging:t4:

Oh, you’re one of those people. Have a good day.

INB4 coherency is not a thing.

Initial thoughts, might be wrong: It’s a bit of a nerf to Kickback spammers, which quite frankly I’m somewhat OK with. The new 1/2 twin stubber kinda supplants it anyways, being able to counter shoot more reliably is helpful.
The accumulation of previous nerfs was and is being felt though, someone really doesn’t like Ogryns over there.
Thank Jebus for the ping-pong shot+gunner bounce being finally fixed .

IMO the issue is the use of the word ‘nerf’ since nerfing implies it will get changed to a useless foam version of itself. It’s already a stupidly emotionally charged word because of its original connotations (‘it hits like a nerf gun’) but continual use of it just, intentionally or not, turns it into a bit of a bait. I would love for things to be balanced better, but not nerfed into uselessness, because that’s how I hear nerf.

It’s definitely semantics, but words mean what they mean.

It’s A-class for sure but if it’s getting nerfed(again), then there should be a long list of other S-class weapons nerfed first.
I get if you only play Ogryn why you might think it’s OP though
