Off-Topic Fridays: What Old Website or App Do You Miss the Most?

Hi and Happy Friday, I hope you’re having a lovely day! This week’s question is:

What old website or app do you miss the most?

Y’all are very well behaved but I do need to say… keep it SFW

Anyone remember the web-based The Sims pinball? I spent so much time on this. Also, MySpace, what an era

The Unregistered Hypercam 2 in the corner really makes this. Also this is just a reskin of the Windows XP pinball!

I think I still have a portable exe of it on one of my external drives. I kinda want to find it now…

For me there was a fan made Attack on Titan 3D flash game I used to play a decade or so ago. I don’t give a damn about Attack on Titan but that was addicting and I got very good at playing it on a cruddy laptop and a trackball mouse.

Also Angry Birds. It was a great time waster. I have some strong opinions about Rovio rereleasing the original for $1 with zero ads a few years ago and then having it taken down again :upside_down_face: Shareholder value I guess

yah a lot of the pinball craze seemed to start with windows pinball and ended with… POKEMON PINBALL for Gameboy…COLOR

my mum got it from Toys R Us during the Christmas craze from that guy in the backroom who had 1 left ^.^

I remember the flash game Angry Birds Ripped Off. It was called Crush the Castle and it was awesome.

Is MySpace, like, still a thing or did it fully die out when Facebook pressed the boot to its neck? I’ve never really checked. I remember my older cousin Giada using it a lot, she was one of those emo types. I was born in 2001 whilst she was born in 1994, for reference.

I remember back when Skype occupied the same kind of role Discord does now.

Plug-DJ was pretty funny 10 Years ago :star_struck: i think some folks re-edited it at some point but the vibe was gone already.

I more so miss the old UI of some apps and sites, reddit, most email services, some of the work related sites and apps…

Each UI update usually is confusing on why it even exist.
