The flamthrower nerf, cause it’s not understandable powerfull. You deal damges in vast area, pass through armors, burn, stun, big mag, a lot of ammo, NO overheat ! In t5 you oftenly see a flamer operator killing a full wave with all specials and elites inside. With all my love, bye bye. ---

I mean you also give up on all the ranged threat with it. flamethrower is nice but not absurdly powerful and I think we should push for buffs first and see about nerf once every weapon feel interesting to play. ---

Interesting to play? You mean “holding LMB” into a horde? Like common… powersword was on top and needed a clear nerf. Now it´s up to the 2nd in line too strong weapons to get slightly nerfed. Flamethrower is one of them. ---

yeah but people tends to make more sound about nerfing anything above as they simply stop to use the bad weapons. At this point I think class need to feel more powerfull. ---

Eh screw the people, Fatshark already does. /jk And I disagree on feeling powerful, if you want that - play on lower difficulties, if you want challenge, play on 4/5. Gear should be balanced around being competent, not overwhelming. ---

OP just made this post becasue they nerfed his Power Sword a bit 😃 Let us just remeber that PS issue is that is good/great against everything in melee and had no major drawbacks, like other melee weapons. Of course balance should be struck somewhere. If anyone believes flamethrower is OP then I guess Purgatus staff is as well. These are horde clearing weapons and are good at that, they don’t do anything against armor and have range limitation, slow reload and so on. ---

In Damnnation difficulty and high-Intensity special conditions, I can melt hordes, elites and bosses effortlessly with flamethrower. Flamethrower is a broken weapon. ---

Good for you, I am glad someone out there can actually use it properly, knows when to use primary fart and when to dose. Unfortunataley, judging be my random games expereince in Heresy and Damnation, not everyone is as proficient and I have seen many Zeals not being able to stagger/pushback dangerous enemies or die in the middle of a horde while fumbling with reload. Yes it is a strong weapon, so it Bolter, MkXII, Accatran or Braced Autogun. All have their weaknesses though, which serves as balancing factor good enough. Just my opinion, everyone can have theirs. ---

How weird, i feel like the threat in t5 is not actually horde or elite. Well, as a Vermintide veteran player horde is a meh. But what actually makes me cry is the scab and dreg shooters that seemingly come from anywhere and melt toughness like dafuq. Those guys are really crazy. ---

So true, actually one Sniper that your vet or psyker missed or could not get a LoS on, can ruin a run, especially on Raid or Repair. ---

You missed the point, I was not comparing the Bolter to Flamer. Marely mentioning other strong weapons, to highlight that just like Flamer they have their strong suits as well as weaknesses. Of course it is weaker than flamer against hordes, it is not it’s primary function, it is however better than other weapons in sniping tagets, even heavier, taking down groups of tanky enemies and can deal with many threats in game. Flamer is none of these, it is horde clear with added utility of stagger on pouncing/close quarter specials. “The rest are mediocre assault rifles” 🤦‍♂️ ---

Bruh, sniper is a special. These scab and dreg shooters is just a normal mob. Even just one of dregs shooter that uses autogun or burst fire can melt your toughness to 0. And this is what makes revive downed teammates impossible coz we got suppressed by this guys a lot. And they is just smart like fuk to take cover. These guys feels illegal xD ---
